The Woman Today magazine welcomed more than 200 guests to the Greysolon Ballroom on Thursday, April 4, for the third annual Rosie Awards: Recognizing Women as a Driving Force event.
Duluth Media Group Advertising Director Megan Keller opened the evening, and Annie Lepper of MPECU (the presenting sponsor for the Rosie Awards) followed with remarks. This year’s keynote speaker was Deb Otto. Magazine account executive Ali Comnick announced each winner and read the submission statements from their nominators.
With $5 of every ticket sold going to Safe Haven Shelter and Resource Center, organizers were able to raise over $1,000 for the nonprofit.
In-depth stories on the Rosie Award winners can be found in the June issue of The Woman Today magazine.
